About

Knowledge is like money: to be of value it must circulate, and in circulating it can increase in quantity and, hopefully, in value.

Louis L’Amour

My hope in creating this blog is that the value will come in that the knowledge that is shared in this blog’s community, and among its family, friends, and social circles, will be an agent of change. I don’t think many of us would disagree that this wonderful country with all its freedoms ironically is not as much a land of opportunity as it once was. It’s well documented that there is an increasingly large divergence between the upper echelons of our society and the middle and lower strata. The opportunities for many of us are eroding. We can see this in our struggles to make ends meet day to day, find jobs, provide necessities and education for our children, and to plan for our retirement days. All of these and more are becoming increasingly difficult.

My name is Will and I am an MBA, and veteran of the financial markets for more than half my career years. Like so many I am a casualty of the economy we’re in and witness to a much larger macro picture that I’d like to share ideas with you on regarding the state that our economy is in, what led to this, what factors are contributing to its continuation, and what we can do to bring about the necessary changes to make the USA the vibrant, growing economic powerhouse, chock full of opportunity like  it once was.

As plugged in to economic, financial and political news as I am, my knowledge only scratches the surface. This blog will be most powerful if we can tap the collective wisdom and intelligence of all its patrons. Please join me in sharing your ideas, your knowledge and intelligence and spreading the word. Together we can truly make a difference! Buy American! Thank you for your participation.

The ancestor of every action is a thought.
